In April 2020, as social distancing measures were enforced, the Center for Christ temporarily closed its physical doors in compliance with the government regulations in Jakarta. However, our activities persisted through online means. The Center for Christ family continued to prioritize health and adhered to strict health protocols. We fervently prayed for the protection and well-being of each family member during this challenging pandemic season.
Despite the physical closure, students enrolled in the HIC Program continued their studies online. All teachings, group discussions, and even tests were conducted through multi-party calls and various online applications.
Additionally, the Center for Christ extended its support to its family members by distributing aid to alleviate the difficulties caused by the pandemic. We eagerly anticipate the day when it will be both government-permitted and safe for our disabled friends to gather again, allowing us to reopen our doors.
